One of the most under-rated ambient pieces from the 1980s, by progressive music extraordinaire Thomas Diethelm of the 1980's Swiss duo Diethelm & Famulari.
Welcome to a new video for an old, forgotten Thomas Diethelm piece!
Entry:
I honestly though that the only other people who understood Diethelm & Famulari were a select few in the country of Switzerland. Their music, being sacred to me for years, felt like a best kept secret, and I travelled the world with it sounding through my headphones.
After tracking him down in Switzerland, I was in touch with Santino for a short while. I sent him my music and for a minute we were fans of each other.
I was planning on being the first to do videos for their old work, but then discovered, with pleasure, that someone else had beat me to 3 of them already. I'm happy to be the second one doing it.

That's a long time ago. I'm a great fan of D&F and later of the Thomas Diethelm band. I thought I had all albums of them and sometimes searched for new music on the internet. Never found :-(
Thanks for sharing this piece. Brings back memories.
