leaning over was probably a lot easier, but the dyno might have been a last resort due to height? I know because I'm short there are a lot of things I can't do that my friends can.

hey that lean out move is EXACTLY like one of the climbs on Ton Sai beach in Thailand! i believe its called "beauty and the beast" and its a 6c climb.

yeah some climbers power through beacuse they lack technique. Obviously a combination of both strength and technique is what everyone is aiming for, just that we all start with our own strong points. =)

That is the way in lower grade problems, but as you start getting further up into V8/V9 you need both power and technique. (I cant quite nail a V8 but a few of my friends can)

I'm the same way. I don't like to do dynos if at all possible. I usually try to find a static solution to the problem and sometimes I wind up making my friends amazed at the solutions.
