The Smart Lift™ System is a portable patient transfer system that helps mobilize patients using a mechanical advantage. It reduces the lift-load and gives the caregiver better control during transfers. Great for hospitals, nursing homes, rehabs and home health. Think Smart, Lift Smart.

  • Please contact me thru the website for additional information.

  • This is a pretty complex patient and would be hard to assess without trying the lift first. If I'm understanding correctly, the mother was utilizing the spastic extensor tone to the legs to assist with partial standing which reduced the force on her low back. And the reduction of tone to the legs now multiples that force. This is what the knee belt was designed for; to give a leverage point.

  • Absolutely. The Smart Lift™ System was specifically designed with the elderly community in mind. That's why the Vest, Forearm Pads, and Knee Belt have thick padding for added comfort and support.

    Thanks for your question!

  • awesome work =)) good job keep it up congrats

  • i have a patient who's 22 y/o, a longterm CP, weighs approx 250# and whose mom has been transferring her stand pivot by using a rolling stool for leverage. the patient also just got surgery for a baclofen pump to decrease her overall spasticity, but is now a little floppier than usual for her mom to transfer her with the usual method. now the mother has increasing back pain from lifting her, and the pt now has very fragile back for lifting. will this be helpful to my client?

  • Can these be used for care of elderly people?
