On March 27, 2008, volunteers from MoveOn.org, supporters of Brave New Films, and dozens of concerned citizens delivered copies of a 200,000-signature petition to the offices of NBC (shown here) and CNN in New York and CBS and ABC in Washington D.C. The petition read:

"FOX is a Republican mouthpiece, not a legitimate news organization. Real news organizations must reject FOX's smears of Barack Obama, not parrot them and distract Americans from the pressing issues of the day."

This event comes on the heels of FOX Attacks! Obama Part 2: Spreading the Virus (http://foxattacks.com/virus), a BNF video that has already received over 550,000 views in less than two weeks. The video highlights how FOX's lies and biased "journalism" have infected the traditional media. At one point during a Democratic debate hosted by MSNBC, NBC's Tim Russert literally repeats FOX's Sean Hannity verbatim in an effort to connect Barack Obama to Louis Farrakhan.

FOX is not a news organization — it is a Republican propaganda outlet whose goal is to elevate Republicans while smearing Democrats. The Iraq war and the outcomes of the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections were direct results of traditional news organization following FOX's lead. As we face such an important presidential election, we cannot allow the traditional media to make the same mistake again.

  • Silly minority.. reality is not for you.

  • @TRIPnj

See liberalviewer channel...he goes into great length to explain why he thinks a certain clip is biased and then asks the veiwers if they agree or not.

Also if you even try to look you will also find....

    TYT (the young turks)

    RT ( Russia Today)

    Jon Stewart

    Mox news

    Adam vs the man

etc etc etc....Its a known fact that Fox manipulates its viewers...its not even a question of if...but how much.

  • @Neosaigo I've looked and looked and looked, yet I can't seem to find a video where an individual provides a clip of FOX News that they allege is "false" or "manipulated," and goes on to explain WHY that specific clip is "false" or "manipulated."

Before you jump down my throat with religion, you should know that I'm an atheist... Good try.

  • @TRIPnj

Actually look on Youtube, there are plenty of video disproving FOX "news" with facts every time they make a false statement or manipulated story to their liking.

Do you mean "facts" like God created the universe?

  • @ghostrider101101 So ghost boy, you are saying to the people to follow the President (Bush) as Fox News says or we are hypocrats? Now, that is what I'd expect to hear from a Right-winger. Books are useful tools of knowledge, not merely for use as a substitute for a kickstand for your bike. Read about Hitlers rise to power and his propaganda machine; how the sheeple just suspended their cerebral function for "security". The Jews were the reason for all bad things like the Dems are today.

  • and the impact it had was.....nothing, about as effective as a chocolate teacup in the desert. two choices watch or change channels, see simple.

  • @srdtpa Then I wasn't talking about you, was I? Moron.

  • @fjwjr Actually, we have health care system, moron.

  • Meanwhile, millions of people are tuning into FOX and other non-socialistic networks.

  • @PezkeyWabbitz That's where I would've put them!! All of these people make statements about how FOX is biased, yet they can't back it up with facts or evidence. If you think FOX is biased, try providing one or more of the following: a specific news reporter, a specific date, and a specific quote that shows FOX is biased... Oh wait? You can't? Why? Oh! Because you're all progressive liberals; silly me... it's only the CONSERVATIVES who use facts to back up their statements!! "My bad!"
