@allend8 You haven't played both. How is paintball better? The only advantage in gun performance in paintball is the more realistic shot sound, if that. I play both of them. Airsoft is plainly better. Airsoft ammo is cheaper than paintballs, no matter how high quality it is. Decent airsoft bb's in a good guns will go further than any paintball. They are much more accurate, save .12g bb's. Even some of the best guns cost nothing for you to shoot but the ammo itself, no batteries or gas.
