  • Eminent domain is the offer you can't refuse. Does it matter if the gun behind the offer belongs to government or the mafia? The result is the same.

  • Eminent domain should be at best abolished and at the very least restricted dramatically from it current incarnation.

  • fuck the government

  • In soviet America land OWN YOU!!!!

  • Fuck them! Shoot the damn city councilmen!!

  • It is every American's civic duty to willfully give up their land for the greater cause of Manifest Destiny. Your homestead lays in the path of a railroad or highway, a right of way that may benefit millions; you need to pack your things and leave.

Oh wait... this isn't 1870.. outdated policy abuse FTL!

  • that's really dumb, a private company making excuse for Public intrest law thing.

  • For goodness sakes vote libertarian....the other two parties will continue the status quo, tear apart the constitution, trick.....

  • The only way to stop this Eminent Domain Abuse is through grass roots action. Assertive coalitions that become very active in naming names involved and getting all politicians and building commissioners turfed from office if they back a developers' land grab under the guise of economic development.

  • save our freedoms vote for RON PAUL 2008

  • This is clear example of the evils of giving a group of people the right to the initiation of force. I'm talking about government here. Give someone that kind of power and it will be abused. The problem is not the abuse of power, it is the power to abuse. People, start thinking. Start thinking about how *nothing* good can ever come at the point of a gun.
