FMS Spitfire - camera mounted above the rudder

This is a trial flight with my camera mounted on a cradle around the rudder fin. The camera is sitting above the rudder. During the flight I noticed that the extra drag created from the cradle has the same effect as the plane being tail heavy, and as a result the spitfire was very difficult to control. This is my official reason for the bad landing. ;)

This wasn't helped by that fact that one of the other rc pilots crashed into my head during the flight. That's right, MY HEAD!!!

@ep8v2 yeah cos i only paid $200 :) Only kidding, the damage is minor. Will have to counter the weight change with a larger battery I think.

It was doing really well. Up until the high flare & tip stall. :)

Nice view showing that beautiful wing. I hope she's flying again soon.
