They won't simply remake it; they will explore similar thematic concerns within a parallell narrative structure - a re-imagining, if you will; honoring the original while simultaneously ... no, I'm sorry, I can't go on: the bullshit, the bullshit is everywhere...

  • Beautiful incorporation of the Original Series' theme song. God, I love the score for this movie. It just fills me with excitement and awe of the great unknown, the final frontier -- space.

  • The best of the entire trilogy hands down Kaaaaahn!!!!

  • They could potentially put Khan in the new Star Trek. Rather than the "Eugenics Wars", make Khan responsible for the Third World War (mentioned in "Star Trek: First Contact") that devastated the Earth before First Contact with the Vulcans.

  • @Clonetrooperkev yes, it sux

  • @dude75able What about TMP?

  • @omegaman7769 Final Frontier and Insurrection were the flops.

All the other TREK films are Superb entertainment!

Even the new one, despite its blasphemy.

  • This theme made me think of the movie as more of a naval adventure in space wrather than your traditional Star Trek adventure.

  • KHAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Star Trek II was certainly an Epic star trek movie. But I'd hardly call the motion picture a flop. I enjoyed the first one almost as much as any other. Quite frankly, I think Nemesis or Insurrection were more of flops than the motion picture. More like long TNG episodes... THough I enjoyed them too.

This musical composition is one of the more amazing works I've EVER heard :D

  • superb intro probably the best in the franchise. Especially when you've seen it on the big screen.

  • @papabugs71 Of course. And if you notice, all the other films borrow elements from it.
