No a lot of those patterns are hard with such an enclosed space trust me even avgn said super castelvania 4 is the best for the same reasons

Thats because the side scroller versions have such an obvious pattern you don't even need to lvl up to proceed >_> but in lvl up case you need the ''life'' to survive some hits

well they were fun to me and there are no cheap ways to get out of a certain part of the game with this rpg stuff u can just level up or were some special armor to get past it it has no real difficulty

I was only attracted to the RPG element Castlevania introduced to the future series so the previous ones were plain 2D side scrollers and didn't appeal to me ;x soo sorrow series are still the best in my books

They focus too much on the story. Dracula revives, you stop him, end of story.
