satoru nozaki look him up. he worked for toyota not yamaha. back then yamaha worked with EVERY japanese company, making ANYTHING. that does not mean they designed the 2000gt, i suppose they invented the piano too.

I coulda had a 73 turbo corolla for 300 but the guy took it for a test drive and made it into goliaths personal accordian. oh well :/

Yamaha originally designed the 2000GT and tryed to sell the design to Nissan Said No,. Yamaha sold the 2000gt to toyota who since then, have designed most twin cam Toyota engines. Nissans Loss as far as im concerned the 2000GT is a beautiful car. nothing against 240Z'. but the toyota is much nicer IMHO

Stupid Toyota did not start it all!! We all know that Datsun start it all after nissan/datsun dominated all compact fuel efficient vehicles import and europe. They Copied most of the vehicles like the 75 toyota C. wagon looks alot like the datsun 510 wagon 1968. Datsun gave the gt2000 to toyota and then they put there engine twin cam which was a failer ugliest car I seen 240z looks way better .Toyota suks ugly car period. The only thing that saved (toyota ) them is over the yr was the mpg.
