Flight 1549 - NY TRACON Departure Controller's perspective, Realtime animation

This video presents audio from the ARTCC departure controller's position (L116) as well as the raw CDR radar data and NTAP tracking data available for the accident. A satellite image basemap clearly shows the airports, the hudson river and other geographical features. Time is UTC (Zulu). The accident occurs at approximately 3:30pm local time. Aircraft altitude is displayed. The bird flocks are clearly depicted on radar (although the controller at the time had this information filtered from view).

superb video, one of the best I've seen on the incident. The steadily decreasing altitude numbers juxtaposed with the cockpit transcript is haunting.
