My father was in the vietnam war and what Jane did was inexcusable and She should not have lied and said the POWs were not tortured when they were.

Fonda gave a general answer. Left UNANSWERED is why she, a movie star with media influence, told the N. Vietnamese that she wouldn't visit military sites then crossed the line and did, laughing on an anti-aircraft turret. She also lied in her book when she said she didn't realize photographers were nearby. She got caught. I've met her twice and she knows where the cameras are at all times.She admits that the N. Viets tortured, but called POWS "liars" for saying it. Can we say hypocrisy?

These people that hate Jane Fonda so much are so naive. It's asif they expect Jane herself to be reading thier asinine comments and be hurt horrified and offended by them. Think what you will, she is doing well in her life and built up an inner strength to the immature and blind contempt people have and continue put on her long ago. Jane will always emerge the winner.
