A9 around Nurniburg, Germany - Dec 24th 2010

Giving an idea about weather conditions on German freeways today. In fact, most of the areas I crossed through of Bavaria and Badawurtiburg were "Stage Red" bad weather alert (no walking in forests, snow storms, ultra fast freezing over on roads). I did pass *many* accident scenes. I went with adequate speed, performance material, and several slide drive trainings under the hood, all of which I needed. My car's rear end broke out a few times on invisible danger spots such as underlying ice, or big snow lumps. But everything went well. This time, it was a 13 1/2 hour trip (normally, it takes 6 to 6 1/2 hours).
