I saw a video with a man demonstrating an odd design with the trigger reset. Apparently there is a "click" before the trigger actually resets which confused the guy making the video into thinking the trigger actually reset. If you pull the trigger after this first "click" nothing will happen. Did you encounter this with your gun? I am seriously considering this gun and need to know.

I do not remember anything like that, but I always properly reset a trigger fully, no matter the gun.

Jeff I'm try to decide between this pistol or the Keltec Pat 3 what do you recommend?

Hard choice. I have both, and like both. Also, the Ruger is a good choice, as is the Kahr.

It was not the same seven shots. One magazine was fired to demonstrate the function and controllability of the weapon, the second group fired to demonstrate the practical accuracy. I have only one videographer. He is good, but cannot hold and aim two video cameras at once. It would save ammo to have two, but ammo is cheaper than getting another video guy.

I tried using my tongue, but found that slapping the trigger with my finger worked much better for me, and yes, every bullet hit the target.

hay jeff i was wordering if u know any thing about the drefent mags for the ones that have a serial number 6000 or higher mine is under that will they still work of mid way usa says they wont thanks

I'm gonna venture to say that 7 shots to the forhead and the mans not gonna complain about being shot with a 380 acp.the only other thing you could have done to him is give him some sticks to the head and kicks to the shin and several bites by Rin Tin Tin.

I happen to like my tuarus 380. It is a very good firearm. I had a slight problem with it at first. Went to a gun smith and as he put it, got me squared away. I was hitting center mass at 25 yards. I'm happy.

I checked the Taurus web page and they make no mention of a PT 738 TCP with a carbon frame.Thanks for the input Jeff.
