really? I kinda liked this game, the graphics pwnd and I liked the gameplay, still I get your point with the difficulty and the group switching. I guess im 50% agreeing and 50% not.
radiand dawn i like is because ur not stuck with the same groop through the entire game and all u need to do i sulect like 2-3 cherecters from each groop and and use them to slater the only problem w rd is the fucked up the suport conversations
Fun fact: The "first" Fire Emblem is actually the seventh game in the series, and was a prequel to the fifth, IIRC.
But yeah, FE8 (Sacred Stones) is pretty much the neglected stepchild of the series, due to a short length and little challenge. Though, you didn't "play the main heroes," you were pretty much just an omnipresent thing that told the characters what to do, much like the tactician in the one before. n.n

Sixth not Fifth. >.>
A few things. First, worser is not a word. "I've seen the series get worse and worse"
And the final boss of Seven(The one you call the first)? Easy as cake, just use dark magic with Athos.
And also, your opinions are terrible. >_>
7 is by far the worst english one. Nine was great, but way too generic.
Eight was fun and pretty good for the GBA ones.
Ten was SPECTACULAR. Best FE since the fifth, which came out in '94. It brought back a lot of the stuff from the older games.
