  • Great song, it get's stuck in my head every time I hear. I wana see them play too, but I don't think they leave New York for concerts often.

  • They don't tour as much anymore. they do a whole lot of free shows in their home new York. And ever so often go to California. Truly brilliant band.

  • I actually own a lot of the weird toys and games shown here. LOL

  • Everything I know about history was learned from this song.... so I'm pretty messed up.

  • "...I shouted "free the expo '67!" until they stepped on my hair, and told me I was fat."

Few lyrics are better than these...

  • This song is about Jimi Hendrix.

  • Hey at least you're learning something...can't say that about a lot of the songs today!

  • Heh, I went to see them last week and most of the audience was about 30, with me being only 16.

  • Haven't watched MTV in years - it got ugly and arrogant; very surprising (sort of) given it's origins. I saw TMBG back in 1991 or so at UCSD; nice concert - I was 39 at the time, we were by far the oldest in the audience; everyone else was about 18 or younger - weird.

  • this aired on MTV? that used to be a good channel. it showed a lot of promise with all the underground cartoons...then it just got bad.

  • I just love TMBG

I knew them before I knew anyone else (justin timberlake, shikira)

  • You mean Experimental Film sounds like Purple Toupee.

Yeah it does sound like it a little, from the short drum intros and the singing style.

This is one of my favorite TMBG movies, BTW.

  • this is from a time MTV was great....

  • the tune sounds very much like 'experimental film'
