A long-time favorite of mine. It's slow moving and there's really only one or two scenes with gore... but it does have that unrelenting strangeness and dark mood peculiar to films of the 70s. It's like all during that era the studio executives were on vacation and the folks making the movies could get away with all sorts of wacky stuff... stuff that would never get around the 100% profit motive of modern Hollywood.
Not for everyone... but it's a worthwhile watch for fans of the weird.

most of these Video Nasties are tame by 21st (and even 20th) Century standards.
barring the harder ones like the various "Cannibal" movies (ferox, holocaust, so on), which i find pretty messed up, the Video Nasties are mostly lame. most are just cheap spatter blood 'n guts and phony-ass abuse of women scenes, although the various rape scenes are pretty damn brutal...
i mean COME ON, they banned Andy Warhol's Frankenstein?! =D that movie is F'N HILARIOUS. see it!! =)
