  • whats that the dog is munchin on?

  • Golf balls!

  • Just out of intrest what are you opinions of hogan striking the ball from the heel and shanking? Thanks.

  • AllI know is that it is very difficult to shank with a closed clubface. If you are hitting it off of the heel you are doing it because that is where the lie of your clubs is setting them up sweet. If you are shanking you should be thinking about swinging the toe of the club. If your clubs feel sweet in the heel then they are probably too upright. Hogan did a lot of unusual things. That is what you generally call genius.

  • What are your thoughts on The Golf Machine theory of trying to "feel" as though your right arm does not bend much at the top of the swing in order to maximize your width and keep a lot of distance between your hands and your head at the top of the swing? Is this how Hogan and you are able to keep such good width at the top of the swing?

  • I don't know much about The Golf Machine really, but what you are describing is something that I must do to a degree because I feel some tension the right hand and arm on the backswing as if it is supporting the left. The right arm still bends, but it does not just collapse because it is resisting somwhat as it bends. Basically I just don't want either arem to feel like a wet noodle.

  • love this guys passion

  • While he was talking to the cameraman, the dog was eating the camera

  • @sevam1 I have cupped my left wrist at the top of the swing since i was 5 years old... you say it is better to have a straight left wrist... i hit my drives on the ave. 285 with a little cut... wedge game is good... does it matter about the left wrist....?

  • I wouldn't put Furyk in Trevino's category as a ball striker.

  • That's Casey the dog chewing on a golf ball. Just listen to Mike.

  • Tiger is NOT a schmuck.. He is an A-Hole J-Off!

  • now tiger is a schmuck, oh wait, he always was

  • I am from England, and saw Trevino play in the Ryder Cup 1981, he was so entertaining, my father and I followed him round most of the day, I remember he was paired with Jerry Pate, and was joking Pate had a great swing but no brains, so they made a good partnership as Trevino just told him where to hit it.

Trevino hit every fairway, I know Pate and him were against Torrance and somebody in the morning, the Americans won easily.

The 1981 US team was the strongest ever assembed.

  • You are so right Trevino and Furyk are awesome.

Tiger is the best right now, but I think Trevino would of won many more events if he did not get hit by lightning, that killed his back as I recall.

  • Who's cracking open walnuts in the background? This vid is fucking annoying!
