Doing a fun jump at Mile-Hi Skydive. Opened in a thick cloud at ~4,000 ft. Some AFF level 6 & 7 maneuvers tossed in. Jump # 12 over Longmont, CO.

Does anyone ever inentionaly try to ride the updrafts in cumulus clouds, or is it just too risky?

i would have been really scared of crashing with the other skydiver in the cloud... how far away can you see in the cloud?

you have to be 18 y/o at most drop zones to do AFF.

So once the chute was open which was scarier, the ground coming up real quick in the cloud or the other skydiver?
