@GorgiKocoMK Look, these words , as far as i know , are semi-bulgarian. In ancient Greek ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ derives from the word Μηκεδόνας ( mikedonas ) and Μακεδνός (makednos) which means tall man. So Makedonia , is translated to the ''land of the tall men'' in ancient greek. Also , if you know how to translate greek , translate the name Philippos ( Φίλιππος ) . You ll see , that it means ''the friend of (the) horse'' from Fillos ( friend) and ippos ( horse ).

It derives from the word Αιγαίο ( Egeo = Aegean sea ) and the word υπτίως ( Iptios = it means south in ancient greek ) . So we have the word Αίγυπτος ( Egiptos => Egeo + iptios ). Egiptos in ancient greek means: the place south from the Aegean sea. I can find you lots of country names , which country names are greek. If you want ask me for more... :))
