Funny thing is, i was doing all the swinging behind my back and I kept missing and my back would feel really tight after splitting. I tried your method and its much more effective. Thank You.

Good video. Also, I'd like to point out, if you wear some thick leather work gloves, it's much easier on your hands.

I find that cutting the wood in short lengths such as 5 inches eliminates the need for splitting. Get your kindling going, build up some coals, throw on two short lengths and they will burn nice and slow for pleasant heat. I don't split anymore.
