@pubker2113 ah ok was just wonderin i live in myrtle beach too well socastee my boyfriend sent me pictures though from the daytona house on ocean blvd and it was astonishing to me how far away you could see this even from out my window it looked really close.....scary times for sure...

The black clouds could be a varity of things depends on what is the line of the fire. Different types of fuel (trees, houses, whatever) puts off different chemicals therefore different types of smoke as well.

@mbblond08 I live in Myrtle Beach so i just went to the highest hotel on the northern end of ocean blvd by 52nd ave. I was atop the Beach Colony Resort, it's the pink hotel.
