Beck says things like Hitler hated smoking, so do liberals, so liberals are Nazis. He tries to connect public anger toward CEOs with Russia before the Bolshevik Revolution as if resentment and criticism of the wealthy is Communist. Radical free market ideology failed in the 19th century, during the Roaring 20s & is failing now. Glenn Beck is what can happen when someone who has a small amount of intelligence is actually dangerous. There are people who actually believe he's right.

Beck has never said that Liberals are Nazi's! He has said that they are using Nazi-like tactics and that is the truth. Nazi's didn't like smoking, but they did agree with liberals on issues like abortion and Universal Healthcare because, just like Liberals, they were socialists. And, like it or not, his comparisons to the Bolshevik Revolution is accurate! That is how communist Russia began.

As for free market strategies being responsible for the depression and other "corrections", you are wrong. The depression specifically was cause by over regulation, high interest rates & the fact that the feds reduced the money supply by approx 1/3 during the years leading up to the final collapse. The Congress then passed "Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act" which increased tariffs on imports which delayed the recovery. Obama is doing similar damage now with his "out of control" spending & tax increases.

In the end, you cannot spend your way out of a recession! When you run out of money in your personal life, you must stop spending in order to correct the problem. The government must do the same thing!

Okay. We've run out of money. Purhcasing power is dropping. Businesses are being closed, forcing people out of work. I guess it depends if you want to follow traditional economic strategy or gin up fear & hysteria about our president.

Where did you get the simplistic equaivalency between the government and a personal person's finances? Is this what goes for Economics 101 now being taught at Beck University of Econ?

Be curious, question everything & then think for yourself. Please.

Jesus God. You never studied history. Read ANY respected book on the Republican Great Depression,

Did you know it was the Republican Hoover in 1930 who passed the act?

No. Are you aware that the act rescinded FDR's power to help business without the unions? NO.

Where have you been getting all this? Is this part of the "re-education" effort that the Heritage Foundation, etc. started during the 1980s? Please, please, please study ALL sides and read, read, read. Our nation needs it !!!

No wonder this country has lost its place in the world. Whatever prevents you from reading, say, the Wiki entry on the Weimar Republic if you can't hold your focus with a more detailed piece of actual history? The Reichstag enacted universal health care LONG before Hitler in the mid-1800s !!! In fact Hitler wanted to RETRACT universal healthcare! Even though he & his government were right wing, his party balked & he never brought up up after aboutr 1930 or so.

We're talking about the contents in this video, not something he said a year ago! The truth is that while Glenn is human and does occasionally make a mistake, his accuracy is much higher than Obama's is. If simply making one mistake in your life disqualifies you from ever expressing your opinion, then all of us should shut up!

If Beck is such an idiot, I have posted 35 of his videos from this series and you should be able to find one thing here that he has said that is incorrect.

Beck said he "checked" that no other President had never been sworn into office without a Bible.

John Qunicy Adams used a law book. Franklin Pierce didn't even swear. He affirmed.

Teddy Roosevelt used no Bible.

Several Presidents kissed a Bible but did not swear on one.

It's amazing to trust someone with no reasearch skills and makes pronouncements without really knowing what he is talking about.
