I got the Solo HDs and they broke twice and sound like crap. Then I got the Bose OE2i and they are amazing compared to the Beats. Don't get the Solos or Solo HDs. I dunno about the rest though. Go with Bose.

i dont know if you have been told this yet, but the ones that you were talking about that had cables to each driver are the AE1 headphones, these are the AE2's so they are improved and the wire actuially comes out of the headphones
