A remix of two performances of California Gurls by the talented young dancers from Mather Dance Company: the Hall of Fame regional competition in Ontario, California and the West Coast Dance Explosion national competition in Las Vegas, Nevada. The soundtrack includes an introduction by the Beach Boys ("California Girls"), but the main body is the Manhattan Clique remix of "California Gurls" by Katy Perry featuring Snoop Dogg.

Honestly their tricks are you fantastic, but the synchronization is really not very good. I think its all flash and no precision.

@cmmaddux07 Well, that's the challenge, right? To strike a balance between the two. The simple moves are easy to sync, but the more impressive ones are harder, like that knee drop at 1:02 So it may not have been perfect, but it was good enough to win Nationals.

@buzzingbronnie645 What? No, it's by Mather Dance Company. At nationals in Las Vegas, these girls took first place in Mini Division (7-9) with "California Gurls" while the Dance Moms group from Abby Lee Dance took fourth place with their number "Rag Doll."

That was entertaining and those girls have lots talent especially for their age, but yikes. It seems to be a new theme in the dance world to have young girls in competition pieces dance in a way that is provocative just for the sake for being provocative. It is almost as if having the young girls do those crotch emphasizing moves is merely to entertain and humor the audience. It is pretty funny to see an 8 year old booty bounce better than me a 20 yr. old, but at the same time it just seems jank
