In the film, 7.9, Director Yi Han and her film crew try to raise awareness for the victims of the earthquake in Sinchuan, China while being in Cannes. This film documents the various efforts the crew makes to reach out to a vast audience starting with the film community in Cannes. Their quest begins with the conception of the idea itself and ends with their final attempt to do something for the devastated region.
