Super Smash Bros. Brawl - Apr 18 08 A

I think I've figured out why I was off yesterday: I was worried something was wrong with the Nunchuk, but now I'm back on track. I remembered that the analog stick on my Nintendo 64 controller I've been using since 1996 and am still using, at least occasionally. The Nunchuk gets far less action, as less than half of my games even use it.

Ike's movements are...weird. They seem to be delayed, even without the lag. You have to wait for them to happen, but thankfully, Ragnell has a pretty far reach, and it's pretty easy to get people caught in it. This guy's definitely a power character through and through, bad jumping and all. Make a mistake with Ike, and you pay for it.

Yoshi's Island
It's the default green Yoshi in his home stage! Not much happens here, but I love the squigglevision background. Why couldn't the stage itelf have been programmed to have squigglevision cel-shading? I'm sure it's within the power of the Wii to do that.

Hmm.. Does Fox's reflector work with Yoshi's Final Smash? I'd think it wouldn't, but I've never actually tried it or seen it tried.

I don't know actually. It'd be pretty pointless, as Yoshi's invincible during the Final Smash, and he could just ram into Fox, Falco, or Wolf.

Yes, it does. I have to be very careful when the Trainer gets the Smash Ball.

Then why didn't your opponent use it as soon as he could? There were a couple of times he could've hit you with it.

There's still a bit of button lag; he has to predict when he'll be aligned with me, and both times he was wrong. (It's pretty hard to figure it out when I have that Bunny Hood.)

Well, yeah. But it'd save you from a fireball at a distance if it worked. I know you can use it against bosses in boss battle mode..like Rayquaza's blast, and Meta Ridley's. I'm gonna go try it out..
