Hate it or love it, this movie AWESOME!! I'm half african, and this movie shows the beauti of my continetnt (sorry for my bad english, i'm dirty drunk! at the moment)

Who else loves this movie? Granted its not Crichton's best novel but still very entertaining!

@PizzaDisguise Haha. It just sounds funny - "kids talking about lasers splitting gorillas in half". I was at that age where kids stop playing with toys, but I really wanted the Congo ones, haha.
I guess the "b-movie" thing stems from the fact that it didn't hold up so well in terms of pop-culture success over the years. It was huge, then gone. For me, it's always remained a favorite, but I'm not the type to forget what I like.

@PizzaDisguise Yeah, I remember when it came out, I was a kid and it was huge. Probably because Michael Crichton's name was hot with kids at the time because of Jurassic Park.
