Social activist, educator and author of "Beating Black Kids", Asadah talks about her approach to change the way parents relate to their children by listening closely to the parent's perspective. Through this non-accusative interaction, she is better able to understand why parents spank and to help them develop ways of disciplining children which are more positive and effective. It is her view that only through the support of parents will laws be enacted to ban corporal punishment in the home and schools.
