When heavy flooding hit the residents of Nakon Sawan people were forced to abandon their pets and flee to higher ground. Sangduen (Lek) Chailert took a team of volunteers and staff from the Elephant Nature Foundation to bring food and medicine and care for as many of the suffering and starving animals as possible. The animals are now being cared for at a temple by the Foundation's resident vet and volunteers. Check back later this week for an update.
