I rev up my Ninja 650R with my newly installed Arrow slip on. The silencer is still in place at this point.

  • That's why I did it. I got right to the point to share what wasn't available when I was shopping. Full throttle sound.

  • why get a nicer, louder exhaust only to silence it?

  • @drumguyty

The exhaust came with the silencer inserted. I wanted people to be able to hear the difference with/wo the silencer. I did the video with the silencer in place up to 9,000 rpm. Then I removed the silencer and did another video up to 9,000 rpm. Obviously, there was an improvement. The 650R went from sounding like a weedwhacker to a V twin engine that rumbles.

  • Thanks for posting this! I have an Arrow exhaust on the way and I was wondering the difference with and w/o the silencer.

  • Thanks for a straight-forward review of the sound of the exhaust when the engine is revved as opposed to other videos where there is a bunch of jackin' around before they even start the bike, then they just let it idle.

  • well 11k is over 9000...

  • what... it redlines at 11000

  • ITS OVER 9000!!!
