Spotted this little number on Friday's 8EST airing of Countdown on MSNBC. An advertisement for the O'reilly factor on MSNBC in the middle of the countdown timeslot.

Whether it's an honest mistake, someones prank, or a purposeful stunt, it's still a massive blooper in my book.

The actual O'Reilly commercial starts around 0:58 in.

  • @GstateBALLER925 "sink so low???"

    ROFLMFAO!!!

you must go deaf, dumb & blind to everytime Olbermanboobs cries about how he thinks he is doing in the "key demo"

even though he loses in the "key demo" and makes up new parameters of what the "key demo" is (he changes the 'key demo' to a range Neilsen doesnt track)

  • Yeah I am pretty sure this wasn't an MSNBC TV advertisement and was instead a advertisement from inserted by Time Warner Cable.

Notice how you see the last part of the Aspen Dental portion, which is probably the advertisement MSNBC TV was showing.

Although in the local Cable TV markets the advertisers, in this case Fox News do know what networks they are advertising on and may even choose them.

  • to quote bill o'reilly himself from the commercial which appeared unedited during a break on Countdown: "What we think, and how we back it up, these facts, only facts." Now, as uneducated and neanderthal as that sentence appears, it doesn't say a single thing about "based in fact." But i will give you credit for twisting bill's words to make him sound legit almost as well as he does. *golf clap*

  • BASED in fact you moron. Try watching the show for a change. You have to be smart enough to realize that Olbermann takes poorly edited clips and uses quotes out of context to make O'Reilly (or Orally for you Countdown tools) look bad. Why wouldn't he? He gets tripled in the ratings every night!

  • you mother fuckers always have to get in your cheap shots about ratings dont you? its too bad that you have to sink so low to make yourself feel better.

  • shit happens.

  • So why did Jerry Daniels, the O'Reilly fan who ran this tape during the break, get fired the very next day?

  • My guess is that the cable system showing "Countdown" was in a local commercial break and they were running a local promo spot for O'Reilly's show during that break. It's fairly common for local cable systems to run cross-channel promos without much regard to any real or perceived juxtaposition with the currently airing program.
