Hey everyone, here's an exercise I do occasionally to increase my bench press power. It's consistent of the upper range of the press. Go for explosive speed, somewhat higher reps, and a narrower grip...hope this helps.

  • Hello, I am a new weightlifter and perform some dumbell curls as well laterall raises. However I am still not sure that how well is sculpting my body. Thanks a lot.

  • @MrElsociopata hey there! Welcome to the art of bodybuilding! I know it's hard to do much if all you have is dumbbells....i've been there. Best thing that you could do is to get a membership to some gym, where they have a lot of equipment like barbells and machines. Dumbbell curls and lateral raises are great, but they won't build a lot of mass and certainly won't reconfigure your body. You can do pushups at home too. Pushups are underrated, but they are great when you don't have a gym

  • Good video, I like your style of videos...keep it up!

  • @GymMuch Thanks!

  • wish you would have taken your shirt off sir.

  • your always so modest about yourself - but you are dedicated and built - proof you do what you say

  • @Sizerian You look good when you're heavy.

  • @Sizerian nah, you weren't fat...more like powerfully massive and masculine!

  • @Jer314153 Well it'll help, but keep going heavy, do close grip bench presses too, and make sure you're eating a lot....like 300-500 grams carbs and 200+ grams protein, but that's dependent on your bodyweight. If you're trying to get big and strong, don't be afraid of food. Oatmeal, potatoes, rice.....and work all rep ranges(3-5 reps, 6-8 reps, 10-12 reps, even 15 reps sometimes), but mostly go heavy like 4-5 heavy sets of 4-6 reps...good luck

  • Thanks. I lost some of my bench press strength. I'm going to try this to get my numbers up... unless you've other suggestions...
