  • I typed in the exact same command you did

    " root@bt:~# grap alias ~/.bashrc "

and I got the same thing and i wondered what were the odds..

    Thanks Darren XD

  • @abulmagd3: Haha, That's good. You might delete Youtube then we'll need to break out PhotoRec :)

  • @metalx1000 man, i'm even scared to write this command in youtube comment

  • Nicel video!

I only want add, that there can be a bug in recordmydesktop (I know that it is on openSUSE 11.3) so output can be unlikely (it seems like very low FPS but you select as example 30 FPS), or may the output is too short (you record 5 min. but output is only 10 sec.).

So There is a work around: In most cases the reason is a incompatible version of libtheora0, I ... that only the version 1.0.0 works fine (you can find it in the openSUSE 11.2 Standard RePo).

    br,

    OpenSuseScreenCast

  • The graphics cards are the big factor. ATI sucks with drivers and Nvidia works well but when you upgrade to new versions you end up sitting around with nothing for a minute. To all power users Compiz is worthless. But not to Linux fanboys. You can get any new Linux user more interested in Linux by desktop effects! Thanx Randy (Facebook)

  • Man I wish I had seen this when it came out! I have tried every way you can think of on screen recording and Web cam with Linux XVIDCAP is what works best. Record my desktop GTK is buggy and fails with Compiz running. Darren can you guys do a show on Linux Webcams. I would like to learn something new. Thanx Randy (Facebook)
