http://blog.wolfire.com/ David demonstrates some of the new features he added in the last week:
- Added character color palettes with color palette editor
- Added white guard for palette testing
- Starting on new idle animation system
- Characters only enter combat pose while fighting
- Added "attack damage" and "knockback" parameters
- New raider rabbit model (press '8' to switch to it)
- Fixed parameter copying

  • I suggest making the blood spots on the ground kind of expand and "soak" into the surface underneath, and gradually become more transparent around the edges.

  • @Jujitsukitty1 well it should only be if its with a very large, heavy wepon. (not a dagger or anything)

    I mean it would get be cool to see them sliced in half, but not all the time. somtimes its satisftying to just see that gash in them, yah know?

  • Is the bunny creature the only animal you can get? Wolves, crocodiles, birds, and foxes would add for interesting almost "class-like" gameplay. Adjusting to the player's style by the animal he or she chooses. I have a game idea. Sadly I am not a programmer yet as I am only 13 but just hear me out. E-mail me at azzarath1@yahoo.com

  • how do you increase/decrease knock back force?

  • (to continue last post) IT would be beautiful to rapidly press the air roll and go into this really fluid looking continuous roll.

  • Can you make the flipping in the air a little more natural? I feel that you should be able to keep spinning. sort of like your sitting next to a bike and just spinning the wheel to keep it going. IT also would make it kind of interesting to tactically decide when flipping is a good idea or not. of course the air roll cooldown wouldn't be long, maybe like a quarter or to longer. IT just looks to me like it needs a little bit more smoothing is all.

  • @Alluniox There are already rabbits, wolves and cats (but these are very unfinished). They will add dogs and rats too.

  • Make the jumping look less awkward. That is perhaps the only fault I can find right now.

  • I used to be a ninja rabbit like you, but then a took an arrow to the knee.
