This song, made as library music by Brian Eno, was used in the setup of Windows.

The original music was a bit flat, so I added some effects, beats and bass to it to liven it up a bit. The original sound in the Oobe/images folder was in mono, so I have stereofied it slightly.

Original Music: 64bit/ Mono (VHS Quality)

The original music sounded distorted when the volume was turned up to a certain level. Unfortunately, I had to remove much of the 1k - 250k bands (bass) from the music to make the beats added to it sound clean and tidy. It was also very mono so I have added a little reverb and tweaked the equalizer settings to make it sound realistic (in an early test version it sounded terrible with more reverb than it has now). I've also added some subtle additions to the end :)

New Music: 320kb/s Stereo (Studio Quality),

  • @adzDeeJay I CAN TOO PLEASEEE ??

  • i listen to this song all day at work. The real version... i am SO glad (and so is my cube neighbor) that there is a remix.

  • Good! 5/5!

  • LOL!

  • excellent work on this remix! it sounds great!

  • haaa thats awesomeee. what program did you use to remix this? I use garageband.

  • Very nice!

  • I like it but it could be improved. The original melody is drowned out at times by the added bass and the cymbal crashes (I assume that's what they are) are really jarring and unnecessary.
