AlHakeem, You are the one who to talk!
You use western language to communicate and you criticized others for singing in English language?
What a double standard you have.
يتضح لي أما إنك أحمق وأما إنك منافق دجال، والصفتين مذمومتين.
أو كما قال القائل: أكعد أعوج وأحجي عدل

you don't need to be mean, everyone has his own style, those guys are clever beccause, they are putting a new image in the middle east, although they have an ok voice, they played it right, you have to put in mind that, but we arabs allways wants to criticize everything comes from us, Gob be with us

There is a very big difference between someone who wants to get to know a different culture keeping his own and being proud of it ... and on the other hand someone who forsakes his identity and language and adopting a different one.
and please, don't tell me that you are comparing om kolthoum with those kids ...
that just doesn't fit together ...
This comment has received too many negative votes show
You westernized scum ...
you are nothing but people with no sense of identity ... you sing in English like you don't have a language of your own.
You think that you are western and cool while the westerners laugh at your ugly faces.
you should be ashamed of yourselves.

dude, u have to realize that the so called arabic music (such as um kalthoom music) is originally based on turkish/persian music
so them old arabic singers r not so different after all from these guyz when it come to copying other people's style
plus these guyz sing about their country, so what is the harm in using a non-arabic language so their message can be heard by a broader audience?
plus isn't mbc2 (english language movies with arabic subtitles) is one of the most popular arabic channels?
