true ultimate personal freedom would be anarchy. Which only works based on the assumptions of people having some sort of moral code. conservatives in local government enforce social issues a lot. I think in the true sense of freedom you wouldn't have people telling you how late you can party too. How early you can buy your alcohol on Sundays. Who you can marry. but yeah religious conservatives only use it as an excuse for greedy hypocrisy, all politics is corrupt due to its infrastructure.
