  • BTW in the 1980's I listened to the Exploited, Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, and a few other punk bands along with music of other genres such as speed metal, heavy metal, industrial, classical, classic country, rave (house), trance, all sorts of stuff. A little early Hip Hop too until the focus turned totally negative lyrically and musically simplistic.

  • That's Kat, my daughter at :50 playing guitar! She's wearing the orange skirt and black t-shirt. Suppose most parents would shudder at the prospect but I bought her the guitar and was definitely proud. Punk instills independence of thought and a strong character, MTV-pushed gangsta music traps teens into a cycle of abuse, pregnancy, and lowered self-esteem. Sorry about preaching but these points are lost when punk is discussed. A recording career isn't the only reward, a broader worldview..

  • Jayne County was great in this!
