Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) opened the public portion of a groundbreaking Muslim-Christian conference with a strong endorsement of the gathering's aim to promote interfaith dialogue. Kerry (D-MA) spoke July 28 to about 200 participants in the conference, Loving God and Neighbor in Word and Deed: Implications for Christians and Muslims, about the compelling political benefits of promoting better understanding between the Abrahamic faiths.
