  • this is wild stuff, you`ve got me all into checking out these Numbers Station shortwave broadcasts now on Youtube, and wow there is a lot. These coded messages with One-Time Pads of codes that spies use with prearranged times and tones on UTC times, and guys are picking them up on shortwave bands. Totally intriguing! Thanks! Im into this!

  • @gangesexcavating Lots of great DX today. Worked on South Pacific station already and more of them will be coming in a bit later. It all works on the atmospheric conditions for making a good contact. The better the conditions the better you can get out. Also good equipment helps too

  • @BananaJSSI Thats awesome! I want to see if I can get a transceiver for you that goes down in the military bands, ouch shouldnt have said that BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING LOL

  • @gangesexcavating Or Listening!, lol

  • when I worked in the High Arctic Canad on environmental cleanups I was on DEW Line sites, and they are now converted today into Radio Listening posts which transmit to points unknown. They had ATCO Frontec International security contractors with serious dudes with guns, etc at the operational sites. No cameras, background checks, huge no-go areas on site, all true and no-joke. Cambridge Bay Nunavut has a huge North Warning Site I was at. I could only go to 20% of the site. All true stuff

  • @BananaJSSI no kidding. Can you get some Vietnam, Guam, Korean, etc shortwave radio stations for us to listen to. The real out-there kind of stuff. How about Greek Bouzouki music

  • @gangesexcavating That was a cool video and one of my all time favorite transmitters being shown there as well

  • @BananaJSSI did you get that NATO transmission video from Libya last night I sent you

  • @Graveltrucking This stuff is pretty cool, you should hear all the stuff you get on the r, adio when up North. With better radio equipment you can grab military, coded signals, NATO transmissions, pretty neat stuff. The shortwave AM radios are great, as well.

  • @gangesexcavating CQDX means calling any long distance stations
