We found a dead iguana next to the trail so placed a camera trap on it to see what animals might come eat it. Since we were in a nature preserve in Costa Rica we were hoping for wild predators like a jaguar or tayra. Instead we got these two hunting dogs - does this mean poachers are nearby?
[note that we used some string to tie the iguana carcass in place so any predator couldn't carry it out of view of the camera trap]
