Scooting Emperors Promote Chinese Splendor in New York

With the Chinese New Year coming next Monday, people are getting ready Divine Performing Arts arrival in New York and New Jersey- let's take a look at what three young men from Boston have been doing in Manhattan.


STORY:
New York City is the financial center of the world, and a metropolis of culture.

And yesterday in New York, three very unique Bostonians formed a mini-motorcade, donning traditional Chinese costumesand all for a very good cause.

With the Chinese New Year coming up this weekend, they want New Yorkers to see Divine Performing Arts Chinese New Year Splendor at Radio City Music Hall.

Steve Lancioni has volunteered his time and his scooters to promote the shows on Manhattan's streets.

[Steve Lancioni, Tang Dynasty Warrior]:
"For us, myself and my business partner, we have attended the show for the past four years. And we are so inspired by it. The traditions and the meaning of the show. It is restoring traditional Chinese culture."

Divine Performing Arts are performing in New Jersey at SUNY Purchase, the State Theater and the Performing Arts Center in New Brunswick, and at Radio City Music Hall in New York this weekend.

Radio City Music Hall."
