Merry Christmas.... it's the "Christmas Test", "Special" thingy as Its Christmas So Luke, Shai and Andrew Join in and we do Sriracha Hot Chilli Sauce, available all Over but never Tried and been asked heaps if Have, Tony sent it over from Hawaii for us to try Soo we all Did..

From the Site..
Huy Fong Foods' chili sauces are made from fresh, red Jalapeño chili peppers and contain no water or artificial colors. This results in sauces that are flavourful and hot. All of their sauces are manufactured in Rosemead, California. Huy Fong Foods has begun to break away from being known as a sauce for only Asian food and now is being known as a hot sauce for all cultures. Some uses for the sauce include topping pizzas, marinating meat, adding heat to chilies and soups, and spicing up salsas.

Sriracha is made from sun ripen chillies which are ground into a smooth paste along with garlic and packaged in a convenient squeeze bottle. It is excellent in soups, sauces, pastas, pizzas, hot dogs, hamburgers, chowmein or on anything else to give it a delicious, spicy taste. Like all our sauces, we use only the highest quality ingredients and never any artificial colours or flavorings.

Available in 17 oz. and 28 oz. bottles.

Ingredients:
Chilli
Sugar
Salt
Garlic
Distilled Vinegar
Potassium Sorbate & sodium Bisulfite (as Preservatives)
Xanthan Gum

Whats It Like ?
How Hot Is It ?

Can smell its Nice and a light sweetish flavour, not really chilli smelling but Nice, taste and wow it is Nice and a Touch sweet, Pasty and a bit Salty but Yeaaa, NICE and the Flavour stays due to it not being a Superhot, so doesn't get Over powered.

Heat Hits pretty Quick and on the Tongue and around the Mouth, the Back of the Throat Picked up to the same Level and it just cruized along, the Lips ended up copping it too, a Nice mid/upper mid Burn and a Touch Stingy.. Excellent as Know when eat with it, it will stay at that level and the Flavour is Nice and wont overpower the food with heat,,, be Awesome as a dipping sauce but could use for Anything.

Excellent Sauce and we all Loved it even though Not SuperHot.. One of those that should have in the Fridge as can be used for so many things..

can Get from a Lot of Places as in Shops all over But their site is www.huyfong.com and thewy do have Other Products so check em Uot

Thanks Tony for sending it and the Others..

Have a Merry Christmas Every1 and Thanks for watching throught the Year..

Hope You Enjoy

Be Excellent

  • I doubt there's been one video where Neil has NOT spilled sauce from the Spoon of Doom. There must be a hole burned into the floor right in front of the camera.

  • Love that stuff...always have a bottle in the fridge. :D

  • I've always fancied trying this stuff. This has convinced me. I'm off to order some right now.

  • Hmmm I use it on pizza everytime, nothing can do a better job at satisfying my taste buds than this sauce. A sauce which is easy to find, and will definately be appreciated by any hot sauce amateur.

Have a spicy yet happy new year!!!

  • Looking good Merry Christmas to you all to and I hope you all have a fantastic super New Year oh and try it on Ice Cream mmmmmmmmm.Must add that my dog has developed a taste for a bit of spice in his food now.

  • Sriracha does indeed make a lovely pizza sauce, particularly with a sausage pizza.

It's also terrific with any fried food.

  • i used to buy this stuff but now i made it myself and add some chili thai and habanero's cause when you get used to it it is too sweet....

  • it goes with anything :)..perfect match to asian food to :)

  • It's pretty good with just about everything. The sushi places here in California mix it with mayo for their rolls. If I'm really hard up and don't have anything to eat I'll put some on some blue corn chips.

I haven't really heard of anyone putting it on pizza...I've got about half a 740ml bottle that I need to use up within the next two months. Looks like I'll be using it as a base for my pizza. =) Thanx for the idea! =p

  • Sriracha and Cholula are my go-to commercial sauces when I can't make my own. Fantastic video!
