Only way to tell if its a fake is all the hardware has to say chanel Paris and on the inside there will be a serial number

it's very nice bag fake or not, you bought it because you liked it not for what other people think. i have one and i throw my stuff in there and go on about my busines...and who ever don't like it can come out their pocket with over 2grand and by me one....

it's fake :(. You can tell by the quilting. The diamonds on top don't match the diamonds on the bottom (Chanel makes it so the last row of quilted diamonds will continue on perfectly down to the quilted diamonds on the body) Lots of fakes have the hologram sticker too. I'm sure lots of people won't be able to tell lol I can just tell cuz I study fashion design and study real vs. fake handbags.
