Dynojet Dynos are very generous and the C6 Z06 makes around 450 hp on a dynojet. On our Dyno Dynamics Dyno about 400 is all it makes. We dyno all makes and models and some cars even exceed the factory HP rating.

There is no calibration issue here, sorry to break your heart.

yeah that does seem low, my c5 z made 362 with a few mods!!! im debating on selling it to get a c6 z but not for only 40 hp, and 32k

@RyanLachance gm never said the c6 z06 is 500 to the wheels where the hell do you get that from?If you think a termonator cobra makes more rear wheel power than a c6 z06 you are dead wrong.Find yourself a cobra and come and race me .What a stupid thing to say really.

Dyno dynamics are known as the heart breaker dynos. They will dyno way under what you would expect from a dynojet.

That's exactly what I was going to ask because a friend of mine's 07' Z06 dyno'd 446 to the wheels bone stock. Even 400 to the wheels for a 3,150 pound car is some serious power, much less 450 :) These cars are incredible! I love the ZR1 and all but, I really love this 427 small block! It really is amazing how GM made this work from the factory.

Was that thing slippin on the dyno? why did that traction thing come up?

the dyno is def. reading way low. they make at least 440hp at the wheels

Anyone notice the "service traction system" on the D.I.C.? There's nothing wrong with the car, but there must have been some slippage on the dyno drums. The LS7 makes it's advertised horsepower.

These #'s seem real low my c5 Z made 396 hp/388tq on a dyno jet. Dyno jets obviously show higher #'s but that doesnt seem right.

UMM not really 03 04 cobra is 390 at the crank more like 360 to the wheels

y'all are ignorent. dyno dynamics dyno's are the lowest reading dyno's i've ever seen or heard about. normally 40-50 less hp/tq than a dynopack and about 15 less than a mustang dyno. and it's way better to tune on than a dynopack... and the numbers are just numbers i guarentee if you drove that car it wouldn't be any slower than any other stock c6 z06. but hey tune on a dynopack if u wanna dyno queen and wonder why y get ate up by ppl with "less" power
