THE TORERO's from Hilversum was known as one of the most successful Dutch guitar instrumental combos in the early 60's. In response to the wave of the beat era, they changed their musical style to become a vocal & instrumental group in the mid 60's.
The lineup of the band at the time of this single released in 1966 was Hans Hollestelle (guitar), Jan Hollestelle (bass), Hans Thijssen (guitar, organ), Jan Crescent (drums).
"Come" written by bassist Jan Hollestelle & former drummer Ruud Kleijn is without doubt one of the finest Nederpop/Nederbeat tunes from the 60's.

  • fabulous nederbeat !

  • Mooi nummer, kon ik niet.

Gebroeders Hollestelle werden later natuurlijk bekend door oa. de band SPIN (2 LP's).

  • Now i`m sitting here in the Robina Town Centre library on the Gold Coast in Australia and enjoy this happy song again....so happy ,so inviting....yeah come to me with a whole lot of friends to make some fun....Bedankt jongens

  • This is one of my favorite Nederbeat songs. I always thought the vocals were a bit McCartney-esque.

  • wereld beroemd in alleen hilversum de broertjes Jan en Hans Hollestelle werden later erg bekende (onder musici) studio muzikanten.
