Am schocked as how one can call his country ''a hell hole''. Guys this video is not about politics. What ones problem is has nothing to do with The President. He can't be responsible for our downfalls. Lets all try to think positive. We The Gambians still do not appreciate the wonderful and peaceful country we have. Everyone is entitled to have their own opinion about a place. Experience is based on perception, and perception is an individual matter. However, one cannot judge an entire country based on a minority. I would never base my perception of Germans on a gang of loud, drunk and rude people I met in a bar, or elder British women on those I encountered who had picked up boys in their early twenties. Bumpsters is a minority,so is the president. Grow up and see the whole picture. One love :)

I sailed to Gambia alone from Britain and wrote a book - The Voyage of Storm Petrel - available on Amazon. I am transsexual and got nothing but respect and love from 99.9% of Gambians. Bumsters are created by tourists. I had a Gambian shipmate on board for 8 months and he never gave me any problems - Buba Samateh of Kemoto RESPECT!

Gambia used to be a great place for a family holiday about 15 years ago, but now it is full of beggars, prostitutes and bloody mosques everywhere you go.

My wife and kids just won't go there anymore.

And the worst thing about it is the vile muslim dictator president, Yayah Jammeh, who has destroyed the place and is trying to bring in a law to execute Gambians gays.

Tourism has fallen dramatically in the last 10 years.

Go to Ghana - its much better as a destination.

@abibatoufofana yeah having a Gambian husband must help loads, my uncle lives in The Gambia the bumsters leave him alone, my father went over to Gambia last week...the bumsters don't hassle him as i think they think he's a loose cannon as he has that deranged look...if i happen to go back i will know what to say and how to treat them....and i don't think you are rude....sometimes it's rude to ask thats what we have all be told by our elders..

@19bootsy68 I think it probaly helps that I have a gambian husband because he put people off chasing me too much but I did spend a couple of hours alone, on a beach, in my bikini and had a couple of juice sellers and some random try and pass in my direction but just told them I wasn't interested and they went away. I have to say I quite like breaking the news to them that I am also NOT RICH despite being white - what? Its the truth, If you think thats rudeness that isn't my problem....:)
