Here he shares his message for the entire University of the Philippines community in relation to the Botong Isko 2010 - the U.P. mock elections activity. Tamano is the first ever Filipino Muslim to graduate from Harvard Law School. A published writer and a constitutional law professor, he used to be the spokesperson of the Genuine Opposition. He later became the president of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Currently, Tamano is one of the senatorial candidates of the Nacionalista Party. Tamano is endorsed by popular Filipino singer-actor Ogie Alcasid, action star and fellow Mindanaoan Robin Padilla and Moro Islamic Liberation Front chairman Nur Misuari.
