The best of musicians and singers sound like crap when recorded on a hand-held amateur camcorder. Carl Jackson sings like a bird when the circumstances are even halfway right. His picking is right up there with the best of them.

drjadelong, lighten up; they're singing a whole lot better than I'll bet you do, especially the tenor. At least they're singing the song, in tune, with some energetic backup.
"Desecration" is a term I'd reserve for Elvis Costello's strangulated warblings on "Must You Throw Dirt In My Face". Or any of a number of country songs, for which he has no ear.

gee i thought it was a pretty faithful rendition, nice vocals. if you havent noticed not that many people ARE ira louvin. that incredible voice is now performing for the master.
